I've been to nude beaches and nudist colonies many times.
My body's not much to look at, but it's OK. Most of the other people aren't much to look at either, but most of them are OK.
Most of the couples are over 50.
There are some families there with little kids. I'm really jealous of the little kids, I wish I'd had that experience when I was little.
Many of the really good looking women are fairly unapproachable and even rude if I'd try to talk to them. Perhaps if I were better looking...
I've never been anywhere where there was a problem with gawkers. I don't mind female gawkers. If a woman wants to look me over, she's bloody welcome to.
I've seen gays, but I've never seen a place where anybody was dong sex. The place where there were gays was near San Francisco, though.
It's a lot better if there's a charge to be there, at least $5. There's a free nude beach in sight of the Golden Gate bridge, but there are all these recreational fishermen there. You can tell they don't like to see people walking around naked. But where there's an entrance fee, you KNOW everyone there is there to either be naked or to see naked people, so you don't feel like a lone weirdo.
The first time I walked along a nude beach, it felt fantastic. There was a feeling of power. To be naked in the open, under the sky and knowing I had a right to be there -- I wasn't going to get in any trouble for exposing myself. Knowing it was 100% OK.
