Please name the wonderful places in Monmouth County!!!! I know there has to be good pizza here but I haven't found it. Angela's in Hazlet is ok (not really). I get my hair cut in Brooklyn and I always bring a pie home from my favorite place there. I've never had Papa John's but I don't think I would get that. I don't like Domino or Little Ceasar. You guys really don't eat any frozen pizza?!?! It's not in the same food category as good, fresh pizza but it has it's place. Ellio's is my personal little shame and I thinkt he Stouffer's french bread pizza is good.

Federici's in Freehold
Zachary's in Long Branch (Great pizza and wing specials on Mon. nights!)
New Corner in Red Bank
Mad Hatter in Sea Bright

OO really!? I did notice that the pizza wasn't as good as when i first moved to lodi.
I just can never pin point stuff like that.
But i still think the pizza is very good.

Carmine's in Netcong; started going there in 1975, I've since moved around morris county and now in somerset and try to stop whenever I'm in that area still, it's also the only phone number I can still remember without looking at my cell phone....the best calzone too
Conti's in Princeton
Kinchleys' in Ramsey
Pete and Elda's in Neptune (?), the latter related to Federici's in Freehold, all fabulous and all competing for the thinnest crust, still can't decide.
I think I'll try Lenny's tonight, I see someone recommended it and I'm right down the street.

Oh, and if you're ever in Ocean City, you MUST eat at Mack and Manco's on the boardwalk!

I'd like to make some real homemade pizza with doe from scratch, does anyone do this? How do u make it?

I make my own most of the time. Once you make your own, you won't eat anything else. I have a peel, stone and everything else . Get a pizza dough recipe from the internet, flour, water, yeast, salt, oil. I make it in the bread machine or buy dough from local pizzaria. Add sauce, cheese and any toppings you like. I like onion, sausage and mushroom. Put corn meal on a peel and build your pizza, slide it on a pre heated stone, the best. BTW the pizza cooking for 15-20 mins in the oven gives the house a great aroma.
