Coming from a true foodie---
you MUST try Sun Ray Pizza in Little Falls, note that it is not thin crust but more of a sicilian pie, they only sell them in pies of 16 slices, 24, and 32 slices, they have a somewhat hidden location with horrible parking yet it is always beyond busy--adding to this they do not deliver--so when people are flocking to get this pizza from many towns away with crappy parking and all-you know it's worth it!
You have to try it, the crust, sauce, and cheese make it different from any other pizza you have ever had!!!! Call ahead to place your order and they will give you a number so you just run in, tell them your number, pay and pick up--small place! the pizza-lover section of your brain will be changed forever!

I grew up outside of Buffalo. They had the BEST pizza on the planet.
www.lanova.com www.bocceclubpizza.com ...the best of the best!! and of course our wings...
I do not like chain brand pizza. Yuk. I never went to a Pizza Hut when I lived in Buffalo growing up since we had local pizza places make it 100 times better....No comparison.....
Now where I am it is flat and gross..
Bocce club has sheet pizzas for onyl 23.00!! How can you beat the price? We get a small one here for 19.00!!

I like onion, sausage and mushroom. Put corn meal on a peel and build your pizza, slide it on a pre heated stone, the best. BTW the pizza cooking for 15-20 mins in the oven gives the house a great aroma.

Thanks for that I'll definitely follow what u said. Once I had homemade pizza at someone's house and it was the best I had. Canadian bacon, ham, banana pudding, crust u want to eat, etc sounds good.

What I wouldn't give for a nice hot slice from Johnny's in West Orange

oh please I think the problem is I'm to critical of pizza even when it's good. I've had it from many pizzerias all over and the best was some place in seaside, a place in willingboro near hollywood video and a place in wayne called rock'nRoll pizza or something, there's local place called Luigis but I wouldn't particularlly recommended it because it's good but typical.
We need pizzerias who worry less about toppings and more about good sauce and fresh grease dripping off the cheese.

No such thing as the "best" pizza or sub, hogie. grinder etc. Just like there is no "best" beer.
Whatever one tastes good to you is the best.
Of course NJ has the best pizza but it is available in thousands of pizza shops, some better than others but all better than out of state or chain pizza shops.
