Does anyone have any recommendations regarding Sparta preschools? My daughter will be 4 in Sept. and this will unfortunately be her 3rd preschool with all of these moves (this one will be final!) and I just wanted to really research them before I register. I'll be visiting the Goddard, Tiny town, Hilltop?, and i'm just not sure if there are other contenders or are they all similar?

Thanks so much --this forum has really been a lifesaver!!!

We sent our son to Hilltop for 1st grade... we liked it, but I expected a bit more "one on one" learning. The kindergarten and pre-school looked nice and I wouldnt really expect a lot of advanced learning at that age anyway.

For kindergarten, we sent our son to Alpine Montesouri and it was great. We liked it a lot. And... it was a full day kindergarten, so my wife and I could still go to work.

There's also a preschool at the Sparta Presp. Church, and I heard it was pretty good too. We went to church there, so we didnt really see the stuff going on during the week first hand, but we knew a few folks who sent their kids there and they all loved it.

I know what you mean about relocation... my son is in 3rd grade and this is his 5th school so far. We recently moved to NC and plan on staying here for quite a while, so I hope he gets more than 1 year at his current school.

Hope that helps.

Tiny Town on Demarest. Has done absolute wonders for my son. This is a real preschool not a glorified daycare.

BTW I heard very good things about Hilltop. If memory serves the tuition is rather steep.

Not trying to rain on your parade and quite honestly I have nothing of value to add, just a bit of trivial knowledge.

I have to wonder if Goddard schools is the same as the old schools called "Goddard School for the Feeble Minded". Hmmm....
