Google Images: Google street view car. Its a prius with an antenna looking thingie on the roof.

They USED to be higher res but some people whined. (No Im not talking about when the car wandered onto private property) This goes directly against the old rule of "If it can be seen from the street, it can be shown in the public domain"

they blur people's faces out. like the crossing guard at North Arlington High School. i noticed that when i figured out my journey to Lyndhurst.

I look at google street view all the time. They just did a huge update around a month ago, I am addicted to it.

Here's a google street view site that gives you roundabouts of some of the stranger images they've caught.

StreetViewFun | Funny google maps street views


This also includes the more "controversial" set of images where the google driver hit a deer. Google took 'em down but that site managed to save them.

Great site. I'll be on the lookout for unusual things to send over. A few months ago I saw an image with teenagers warming a spot near a corner, no face blur. It must have been a narrow street because they were quite close to the car. Someone pointed out that you could report those to Google.
