I have read in a few places that ghosts are supposed to be there and on nights people have heard this ghosts listening to a radio boradcast of a Yankees game from the 1940's. Sitting there with the waves banging up against this old bunker, it is a clash of beauty and history that I never get tired from. I think we need to get back there this summer.

yeah!!! Washington Rock is beautiful, I used to love going there as a kid. I lived not too far away from it. also check out Eagle Rock in West Orange/Montclair area.

and to the guy who mentioned Wildwood: Wildwood is the sh*t! but yeah, those marshlands are beautiful. there's this one marshland off the parkway, right after you cross those giant birdges, that's really pretty i think. I always considered that a "welcome to south jersey" sign every time i went down the shore. but unfortunately, they built up houses all around so its not pretty anymore.

Most beautiful? I think in terms of all around beauty for rolling hills, picturesque farms, old stone houses, etc...that Long Valley wins hands down. We're hoping to make that our next (and permanent) stop.
