I know after the economic downturn a lot of projects have been delayed.
My concern is having a stadium in the middle of current Harrison without all of the shops, restaurants & new residential units that were supposed to surround it.
I can only imagine how the NY papers would rip into it (and of course NJ).
Whats funny is a power plant is right by the stadium... so imagine a soccer riot breaking out.. not good.

New Jersey just doesn't have the PR & media spin of NYC.
The Red Bull should be the scrappy soccer team from the other side of the tracks (like the Yankees, who are in a neighborhood FAR worse than Harrison).
Yet we all know, the stifling provincialism across the river will turn it into a joke.
I could care less about NYC & their small minded ways, it's the national perception from the NY papers that bothers me.

This is really going to be a 20,000 seat arena exclusively for Soccer?

That is just a bad idea. If they made a small arena that holds like 6k or something and can host concerts and stuff, that might be a good idea
