Well, this kind of thinking (as well as another already posted) explains why we have this problem. Were these folks just not paying attention during driver's ed? Did they forget the basics? Perhaps it's simply a lack of common sense? Or maybe they just don't have a care in the world about anyone but themselves? I don't get it. Wake up!!!! It's dangerous!

Yeah, and I stay in the left lane the whole way from Mass. to NJ every time I make the trip! It's so much easier....

Go ahead and hate me! I don't care! (smiley face)

its for reasons like this I day dream about driving a monster truck and simply pushing or driving over people doing less than the speed limit in the left lane.

I have been known to, on occassion, pass a slow mover on the right, get into their lane then simply take my foot off the gas. When they finally get mad enough to go around me. I go back to my normal speed leaving them behind me. Is it wrong??? Yes. But it feels good.

Having lived in both New York and New Jersey I was always taught to stay to the right for slower traffic, now in Florida, our main drag went to two lanes, and again I stayed to the right, but guess what according to Fl. traffic law a two lane road is considered just that and you can drive as fast or slow in both lanes there is not requirement to get over, so you have people passing on the right, you have people going 30 in the left lane and you have people going 60 in the right lane....then add in snowbirds coming from other states and not knowing what to do.......accidents increase from Jan. to April.

I actually learned to drive in New Jersey so my mind set is such. You can take the girl out of New Jersey but you can't take her learning habits

No one mentioned this: Define "keep right". On roads 3 lanes wide in each direction, keeping right does not mean keep middle. Even those who dont ride that left lane DO ride the middle. Truckers hate these peope with every cell in their body.

I remember driving to work from the Woodbridge entrance to 287 and driving all the way up to the South Bound Brook exit....I passed every single car on 287 without ever leaving the right lane. 99% of drivers keep middle and pass left.

Right is right; it doesn't matter how many lanes there are. Drivers that stay in the left and middle lanes don't know how to drive. Not caring how you affect other drivers is just ignorant.

Hey, why are you assuming that because I stay in the left lane I'm going slower than traffic? I am one bad ass fast driver, I bet you'll never be able to catch me!!!
