Now, now ladies!!! That's good stuff compared to DH's inventory. He is off of the Genny Cremes now and onto Miller High Life cans $12.99/30 pack. After all, it is the "Champagne of Beers".

Ok..I want you to go out this weekend and pick up either a six of Pete's wicked strawberry blonde or Sam's cherry wheat... both are great "chick" beers. I have pals who hate beer so I made them try one, if not both, of these beers and now they are hooked

Family of 4, I'd have to say I'm similar to Tahiti in what I spend and how I shop although I don't cut coupons like I used to. Coupons got to be a waste of my time because I'd spend money on the newspaper then waste my time standing there, going through it, cut them out only to find those items never went on sale.
I buy a lot of soda & water - I'm coke only and will buy up to 8 cases at a time when it's on sale.
The kids will drink anything for the most part so I buy what's on sale, anywhere from 4 to 8 cases for them but it lasts.
Wholesale club for paper products, shampoo, motrin
I refuse to pay over $2 a pound for any kind of meat unless I have to.
I make stew with leftover steak meat, chicken pot pie with left over chicken/turkey and save the ham bone for pea soup.
This summer I am hoping to grow veggies.

I am a total loser when it comes to grocery shopping. I haven't a clue how much we spend and where.
When I am on base (McGuire AFB), I do stock up on their meat and frozen stuff. It's cheaper but I couldn't tell you how much because I don't know.
I love Costco and BJs because my thing is that I love being stocked up. Remember, shopping for me is a HUGE chore so my thinking is if I go...get the BIG sizes so it will last.
For milk, eggs and bread, I go to Rite-Aid or WaWa because it's right up the street. LOL!

Only on special occasions, since PBR is considered the "caviar" of canned beer. Some of his other canned faves are Augustiner, Busch and Ballentine Ale.
He was in his glory out in Las Vegas last year. We went to Toby Keith's I Love this Bar and he had a 30 something ounce Busch out of a mason jar. He took a pic of it with his cell phone. Everytime he looks at it, he says it brings a tear to his eye.

However I do not have kids and dress like a slob so for me it balances out. I can not wait until the FAIRWAY opens in Paramus!! This will be an experience. I do also take a trip to the bridgewater Wegmans. I must say something you learn are worth more money and some are a complete waste. Its trial and error. I would not buy everything in a whole foods but certain things. Like I would not buy everything in a Shoprite. Overall its a high bill but worth it I have made some of the most excellent cooked meals, and I am not experimenting with Julia Childs French cook books and boy Im having a blast. Now off to the furniture store.

What is Fairway?
Got it!

Are they cheaper than Shoprite? I will let my Mom know...she lives in Twp. of Washington and says Shoprite has the best prices overall. Wonder where they are going in Paramus....Rt.17 I guess.
