Verizon business people...watch you're back!!!
For any of those in here that have Verizon as their business telephone service company, take a good look at your bill this month! I just got mine and it was about $90.00 more than usual... upon further investigation and after making a few phone calls, apparently (according to them) I changed my long distance service over from AT&T to USBI? The woman I spoke to at USBI said she will pull up the recording where I agreed to switch..after being put on hold for 5 mins. she came back and said she can't find it for some reason.. my response - "Imagine that!" Anyway... I'm now without long distance service on my business line nor can I get through to AT&T to reactivate. I've had it with Verizon!!! I'm seriously considering moving my business line over to my cell phone so I don't have to deal with these arseholes anymore!!!
Anyway... thanks for listening and "watch your back!"

Thanks for the warning. So, what's a good business phone company to go with?

Verizon is in much worse shape than is generally known. They "shot their load" with the Fios product(s), and overbilling or cramming like this doesn't surprise me.
if Fios doesn't really take off, Verizon will go under in less than 2 years...

That stinks, Wiley! I've heard of this practice, it's been going on for at least 10 years now. Don't let them take your money!

aPPARENTLY IT'S NOT JUST A VERIZON ISSUE! Oops..sorry for yelling..lol.
Seems that this 3rd party billing can happen with any phone company and not just on business lines! What you all need to do is call you telephone company..TODAY! and tell them that you do not authorize any 3rd party charges on your bill! Verizon is having an investigator call me and they also want to see if I want to press charges against USBI. Of course I do! To everyone in here..look over you bill with a fine tooth comb this month and call your tel. company to tell them that you do not authorize any 3rd party charges!!! The charges for now are on hold until the investigation is complete. Either way, I'm not paying them!!!

I just got off the phone with AT&T... I've switch everything over to them. I've hated Verizon for over 10 yrs. - ever since they changed my cell phone plan and I got a bill for $1500.00! When I called, they stated that my employer faxed over confirmation for the changes to my phone..the phone was in my personal name and..get this...I'M SELF EMPLOYED!!!! I'm the employer!! I hope they do fold!

Who has the worst customer service bar none? V E R I Z O N
I dread having to call them, because I know I will start cursing after I had to state my name and phone number and account number for the 3rd freaking time, even though I had punched it into the phone just to get to talk to an ASS ociate.

Maybe you don't know that Verizon, and Verizon wireless are 2 different companies. Verizon is traded on the stock exchange, Verizon Wireless is not, its private.
Verizon wirelss happens to be doing well financially, and they are hiring people at this time.

"..press 1, press 2.... please hold while I transfer your call to someone that can help you...pause...click...pause... ring.... if you'ld like to make a call, please hang up and dial again" - every freakin' time!!!
And why is it that companies hire ASS ociates with the worst accents!!! I'm constatntly saying.."excuse me? I didn't understand what you just said".... like it's my hearing and not their poor english skills
