Needing and Wanting are 2 different things. This man has a $3mil budget, he can afford to buy what he wants.

I grew up in Moonachie and it was actually a great place to grow up. Everyone is very evenly middle class which is nice compared to some of the snobbier northern bergen towns. It is a small town with mostly families and everyone knows each other. It was a great place to grow up and I still have some wonderful friends from there.

As for the Alpine/ Weehawken debate, my choice would be Alpine. I think Weehawken has some higher end homes there but the range in prices is so extreme meaning that the area is very mixed. Alpine is a bit more high end, I believe the saftey issue is better. I also think for the extra few minutes in the car that you will get a lot more for your money as well as enjoy the cheaper taxes.
