I know, not NJ, but PA, a town called Scotrun, my son and DH thought it was named, Scrotu... (mmmm...) fill in the consonant.

That's interesting. I used to live in Brick when I was a young kid and I still refer to Brick as "Bricktown", even though I never knew why or if it was still called that. Never knew about the name change.
Ever notice Brick and Wall border each other?
Gigantic City always cracked me up. It's in the middle of friggin nowhere. Also another one called Piney Hollow in south Jersey, and there's also a Frenchtown and Englishtown.
