I wonder if it ever crossed his mind to trim the massive fat in his own state house rather then extort even more money from the people.

Nawwwww probably not. That would be too easy.

MissBlinkyLite is on a distinguished road
The state should only give rebates to non-users of the public school system anyway. But the best solution would be to cap off the tax rate for non-users, this way we are still contributing but not forced to pay more then we are able. The school boards have no mercy, they want what they want, you could be destitute, but the school boards want your money, if you can't pay, they sheriff sale your house, this needs to come to a stop. The legislators need to introduce a bill to cap taxes, they are introducing bills for everything else to make them look like they are doing something for their money, they are avoiding the real problem. I'd like to know why NJEA union members are allowed to be an administrative government? Isn't that a conflict of interest of some sort. Corzine is bashed for kabitzing with Carla Katz, probably giving favortism to NJEA members, so why is the NJEA allowed to "be" a government? They are a union as well as a government, how is the average person to fight that, they are doubly powerful

Default way to go..but also include single people

in times like this why have children? encourage more single people.

but appears he is only thinking of veterans for the moment.

Default Along with a higher gas tax...

The au currant economic philosophy is to throw more money at a problem rather than solving it. Does this not make your head spin??????

Taxes would be more palatable if the machinery in which it was fed was working efficiently. You would think a crisis like this would rally the well paid legislative troops to really investigate inefficiencies, ineptness, legal and illegal corruption before demanding more money.

Free access to unlimited tax money displaces the need to problem solve and demonstrates a disrespect for state residents.

Raiding dedicated tax generated funds becomes a bait and switch scam as well.

All dedicated taxes should include an expiration date so when the intended purpose has been met ti can be eliminated.

Time for a tax revolt.....

They are all crooks....read on the Kansas forum I think the other day that they will not be refunding any over payments on the state income tax...HUH??? How the hell can they get away with that?? Hope Corizine isn't up on Kansas news..sounds like something he would entertain States are pulling out all the stops at the expense of the taxpayer

Kansas taxpayers also are due about $12 million in income tax returns. The state stopped payments on the refunds Friday.
