I'm still on TIER II as mentioned and use to get a confirmation email all the time. Lately, I have not.
I have direct deposit up to now taking 2 days to get credited, I will let you know when I go on EB.

I have been on eb for 4 weeks got two checks. I used the internet never call in. Line of work ummm, to be honest I plan on never working again. NO I am not registered on any workforce site. I look very little for a job, and that is being honest. Its a long story, however I do not need or want to work. I will do the bare minimum and let my money work for me. Now you ask that is hard to do in this market but I have a lot of bond funds and a big nest egg so I am really not the one to talk to about looking for a job. I just happen to fall into all these extensions when I decided to drop out of the working world and retire at 41. I have not worked since May 2007 then they contacted me with all these extensions. So yes in a way I am cheating the system, however I worked from age 14 to 41. I do volunteer to help addicts and help my mom who is sick with terminal cancer and my dad who needs help with her.
I can offer you a good home cooked meal, or lets meet and I will buy all your groceries if your in NJ and within a 100 miles from me, or if your really desperate I will help you anyway I can. PM me if needed! I mean this stuck in NJ, any help I can offer if desperate let me know. Marilyn

Non-Negotiable checks

Sent that one in on Friday. Tried to claim those weeks on the 30th as instructed, and I got the "not payable at this time" message, along with a confirmation that I received credit for the weeks and to contact them if I don't hear from them in a week.
The next non-negotiable check came on Monday, the 4th. This was for one week, ending 5/02. It said to send the yellow thing in on the Friday before claiming... but they wanted me to claim it on the very next TUESDAY, the 5th. Kind of impossible to send it in, if the Friday has already passed. I claim it online, and get the same message "not payable at this time".
I get something in the mail yesterday (Thursday) stating I will be getting 80% of my regular claim.
Today, (Saturday) I get another non-negotiable check with the yellow form to send in, this one for 2 weeks, which has to be mailed in on Friday the 15th, and claimed in on the 19th.
Is ANYONE else getting these "non-negotiable" checks, or being told to send stuff in after the day has already passed?
They say to contact them if I don't hear from them in a week, so I don't dare call them and ruffle anyones feathers if I am getting stuff in the mail from them.
I'm getting all kinds of stuff in the mail - everything except CHECKS i can actually USE.
What is all this about anyway?
Any ideas??

I am in the same boat also. I am out of state and only received the first 2 weeks of benefit and then got the non-neg check. I am on hold with them now to try to work this out. Did you ever get anywhere with them?

Could it be because you guys are out of state getting this? Maybe they have to verify things between states.
Anyone else get this "non negotiable check" thing living here in NJ, and not out of state?

Well, just got off the phone with them (30 min hold time) and they said my account was fine, but NJ is having a problem with the checks. She said that "I am not the only one having this problem, that it is widespread" She said to "hold tight" and wait for the checks to come in. I am not sure if I am too confident that it will start flowing again. I guess I will just have to wait and call again next week.
Anybody else having this issue??

Are you in a state that is in an "On Period" for EB? If you are, please comment on what you were told. I am still trying to find out if anyone is having problems claiming against NJ from another state with EB. Thanks!

My notification was almost seemless but it did take a little longer to get the first couple of payments. This week I filed on Monday and got the payment today, the usual three days...so that was great!

I am in Vermont which is an "on" period. She told me that it did not have to do with that, but I am not sure she really understood the entire picture.
