Hi, we are doing house hunting in Livingston and found a house on Beaufort ave close to the active adult community. My question is : is the Beaufort ave a major road in Livingston with lots of traffic.

It's not as busy as Livingston Ave or Mt Pleasant Ave, but it IS a pretty heavily used road. Everyone who lives in the Riker Hill area uses it to go to Eisenhower Pkwy. Cars tend to drive fast on Beaufort too. It is a beautiful area though. The Riker Hill Art Park is right there. That big Gated estate toward the north end is the Boiardo estate, home of Richie "the boot" Boiardo. This is the mob boss that Tony Soprano was modeled after. He has been dead for years, but his grandson (an orthopedic surgeon) still lives there.
