Default Looking to relocate to Haddonfield NJ

I read so much about Camden and Haddonfield is in Camden county and close to Camden. Are taxes high in Haddonfield? What are taxes for a 400 home ? What about car insurance? HAddonfield seems so nice in spite of its proximity to Camden?? Thanks !!

I have limited knowledge but.... My good friends lived in Haddonfield for quite sometime and when I mentioned my husband was looking at a job in Philadelphia she went on to tell me how beautiful Haddonfield was, how much they enjoyed living there.... that everything was close by but the town itself was small and quaint. Good Luck

Mulberry,
Haddonfield is an upscale community. Really, really nice. The have a small downtown walking type area. Great shops and small restaurants. Really a nice place. A safe community. Not close to Camden at all.
As for taxes on a 400k home.............you are probably looking at no less than 6k probably closer to 10k a year.
Car insurance is way up there also.
Will have to ask the wife what we pay for our two cars and they aren't newbies. 97 F150 and 2001 Taurus. I know it is over 1k a year though.
If you can afford Haddonfield...........you will not be disappointed. Really nice area with real good schools.

OMG !
Michael Myers is still on the loose in Haddenfield. My understanding after viewing multiple sequels is- he was never caught. Please lock your doors in Haddonfiel-d!

njprintman did a nice job describing haddonfield but I have to disagree with the tax rate. For a $400 home, the taxes will most likely be above $10K and probably closer to $15k a year. Haddonfield is most well known for it's excellent school system. Next to Moorestown, it is the best in the state, so paying those taxes at least will get you great public schools. We live one town next to haddonfield in haddon heights. Camden is also about 5 miles from haddonfield. If you google, haddonfield, nj you will see the town website. Good luck in your search.
