Hi, I'm planning to move to Matawan, found right house... Any opinions thoughts? I know taxes are high anything else? Thanks

Nearby community center. Anything about schools elementary right now and how is crime rate?

Crime rate is low and schools (Stratmore Elementary/Ravine Drive School) are good.

Matawan's safe all around. Very close to shopping and the shore. Since it's very small and should be part of Aberdeen, it's almost like no one knows it''s their. Has it's better areas as far as home prices go.

Any cheaper way to commute to NYC? By bus its 222 and by train 309 monthly. Kinda high...

Well I don't mind, but where? Another train station? And my wife doesn't drive. Thats another reason why I chose Matawan...
