town in middlesex county that is boating and fishing friendly?
My husband and I are looking to move in middlesex county. We would like to be as close to the beach as possible. I know monmouth county would be more ideal but we don't want to move that far south and we like diversity. My husband loves to fish so it would be great if there's a bay or any docking area within the town (we would probably get a boat eventually.) Price range 450 to 575k.
Good school district a must.

There's not really any ideal fishing locations in Middlesex County- some people play around on the waterfronts in Sewaren, Perth Amboy, or even Carteret, but I've never seen anything caught that was worth the time that was spent fishing for it, nor would I ever eat anything that was caught there.
There are docks in Sewaren and Perth Amboy, as well as in Edison on the Raritan River, but again, nothing to write home about.

gee sayreville is really in middlesex...check towne lake community built by kaplan in sayreville. may be people fish there. phase 1 is almost over and west towne is in developments. i will be careful with the land there though as it looks swamp to me.

A lot of people go fishing and boating in Farrington Lake in East Brunswick. And the schools are excellent!

Nope, I still mean East Brunswick
Farrington Lake borders North, South, and East Brunswick and all three have great fishing and boating entrances or spots. East Brunswick and South Brunswick have the better schools though and the part of South Brunswick that is near to the lake has homes priced in the 700's which is a little out of range for the OP.
