Looking for a Country Club in Livingston area. (Montclair, Essex Fells: clubs, donating)

Hi. My husband and I are looking to join a country club in the Livingston area, probably about a 10 mile radius. We are in our early 30's and are looking for a place to golf, swim, play tennis, and have good meals.

Our challenge so far has been finding a club that is not religiously affiliated. We were interested in one club, but it is highly affiliated with Jewish culture. (They mandate donating $$ to Jewish organizations, don't acknowledge non-Jewish holidays other than being closed, no non-Jewish decorations, etc.) Although we are not practicing, we are from different religions (Jewish and Catholic). We don't want either of us to feel excluded.

Any help would be appreciated!

I don't think any of these have any particular religious affiliations. I have no idea how difficult they are to get into these days, although a lot of clubs are hurting for members now, so give it a shot.
