Sam's Barber Shop
26 Prospect St
Ridgewood, NJ 07450

Sam, the owner is UNBELIEVABLE. Walk-ins only and there is always a line, so be prepared to wait, if you go. He is not cheap either, I think it's $20. Seriously, he is one amazing barber. I took me months to convince my hubby to spend $20 on a haircut but now, he won't go anywhere else.

they're over-rated, and good luck finding parking

i asked the young girls at my office and they said all their male friends go to either "Jersey's Finest" or "The Shop" in Dover.

that's actually the closest one. it's not far at all. however, I think Montclair was the second closest one, and I know Montclair very well and I go there quite often. that's the bummer. it's ok though, it's really not a big deal. i just don't know the Morris Plains area quite that well, in fact i don't think i've ever even been in morris plains. the bright side is that it will allow me to see a new and different area. Morris Plains is a decent town, right?

I originate from Newark and most of the Barbers if not all are/were Italian. My friend goes to one he likes but it's a bit of a hike for you, it's in Roselle on Raritan Rd., all Italian.
