In places like FLA they are listing insanely low prices but most are short sales so the asking price is not accurate, they put whatever price they want to get bidding action, it then takes 3-4 months to get an answer and likely rejection from the bank. That 90K condo at Vero Beach probably cannot actually be bought for 90K.

And there are Physics teachers with 20 years of experience and a Masters Degree (plus 60 creds) getting about the same.

Do you have ANY clue ho much education and work that is?

Do you know that there are professions with far less education and actual work hours that get paid more?

Also, although I do not like the idea of Gym teachers getting paid top dollar, there was one thnig my mother told me that got me thniking. These guys have to deal with EVERY LEVEL of student, from achiever to beat-nik.

Dealing with the troublemakers, ESPECIALLY in todays day and age where this kind of thnig can get a person in a LOT of legal trouble, can be a very stressful endeavor.

If you have ever tried to get a group of 30 disruptive teens to do anything organized, and have to do that 5 times a day, you will know how some of these teachers have it rough.

And every school seems to have 20 levels of administrators and special education bureaucrats that get paid big bucks.
Administrators are NOT teachers. As soon as the public starts addressing them SEPERATELY, maybe we can BUDGET them seperately and not have the pay raises of deserving teachers get tapped off by golden parachute schemes for retiring administrators/supers.

As soon as people say we are spending $$ on education, I have to keep reminding them that the $/kid ratio is a farce, and that the ones DOING the education are often underfunded and underequipped.

But it is great that we have these world-class admins!!!!!!
