WOW 7.50 a pack  I remember as a kid in the 70's I would run in 7-11 and get my mom a pack of smokes for like 65 cents.
I don't smoke and never have but I think it is just crazy how smokers are vilified and taxed taxed taxed and then taxed some more. It never ends. |

Also...if you buy cigs made or sold on an Indian Reservation... even on-line.. you are exempt from the taxes. Just make sure that they are legally classified as a reservation.

My cigs are actually more expensive than regular old american brands..marlboro, etc. Cost in NJ for a carton is $75.00!!! |

I don't smoke, but Cigarettes Here, Marlboro, are no more than $350 a pack, someplaces less. A carton is under $40. I would have to look at the sign in the gas station to know exact amount. I know its something like Thrirty something dollars.

Nope..they hunt you down in NJ & NY for "unpaid tax" believe me hubbie was a big buyer on the net at Indian places....He got a nice letter from NJ DEpt of Taxation |

Trust me...redneck and exotic don't go hand in hand..lol. Hummm..maybe it's my neighbor - she was outside in the middle of winter, at night, in her bikini while her mom was taking pictures...I thought it was a bit od but now it makes perfect sense...lol  |

LOL-my husband sent me an e-mail this morning on how he paid $7.08 for his Marlboros, then asked my to call my father to ask about the shot he got that helped him quit after ions of smoking. I guess now that the tobacco is starting to cut into his poker money he's reassessing his habits. LOL.
