I got a job offer in Plainfield (95k/year). I am married and have a 2 years old girl. Since am not a US citizen I am clueless regarding the life here. What city do you think I should check?

Well, Since I am coming on an E1 Visa, I think best will be a rent. What I am most concerned about is a good pre-school for my toddler, I was thinking about Montessory. But again, I have no idea if my income is sufficent. I will need to buy two cars so bear that in mind. Regarding place of worship, I am a Jew (not religious), not keeping Kosher.
I read this forum today and found out a lot of good about Westfield.
Temples & Montessory schools are all over - check w/ them to find exact locations. Most preschools are private (some in people's homes - stay away from these) so this should not be too hard a criteria to fit.
apartments are the best way to go if you think you be in it for less than 2 years. Also it gives you a chance to look around before you settle in on buying a house.
