Can anyone advice? I know hit the search button. But heh ...things could be new today.

Anyhow, been thinking of doing it part time for the moment. Any advice on how to become one instantly?
I think I will do good in that profession.

Tell us you are kidding. Have ya heard? We are in a depression and still falling. There are a hundred thousand Realtors who walked away from their beloved profession to go back to their old. Why do you think that is?

The couple Realtors who post with us here will agree with me. The only Realtors remaining in this market are those who been in it for a very long time. These long timers will get that call from past clients who remember a job well done. No new Realtors can find new business cause there is none.

No my friend. I know you are frustrated in your home search right now but dont bother. Keep in mind unless things changed a Realtor's license takes 3 months of schooling. Even if you sold a home on your first day, you have at least 30 days or more before you are paid. You must have a healthy bank account in that businesss right now.

I do not agree you will fit right in.

you need at least a bachelor's degree. then you have to attend realty school for four years. it's very hard to get into, and very competitive.

Of course you don't need a bachelors degree.

I think the home prices of 2000-2001 were much realistic than todays.
It does not take lot to build homes....yes even the mcmansions..
Its the concrete/steel that costs much.

i thought I will do good in this profession today because I bring 'honesty and integrity' in to the business that was so lacking all along.

Real estate was traded as stocks....pure speculation....hiding offer amounts etc et c... thugs and goons were running the business because billions can be made in this simple industry.
