Default Red bank

I'm thinking about moving to Red Bank and need some info. Is this town diverse and are the schools good? Is there a ferry into the city and what about the taxes? Sorry for all the questions but I want to cover everything.

Thanks in advance.

Take the assessed value of the home lets say $400k divide by 100 x tax rate (1.594) your taxes would be $6376. The ferry is located in either Atlantic Highlands, or Highlands, but the train station is right there in Red Bank. The High School is suppose to be very good there. Its called Red Bank Regional, the kids that live in Little Silver attend there as well. I haven't been back in a few years but Red Bank was always diverse.

City Data and other statistics sites can give you a better idea of the diversity than just asking people. My impression is that Red Bank is reasonably diverse and has a good school district and a nice little downtown area. It has a train that goes to the city, you'd have to drive to the ferry I think. You should be able to easily see the taxes on any property on realtor dot com or the MLS, they are high like everywhere in NJ.

Red Bank public schools are not as respected as neighboring Rumson and Fair Haven, which are tops in the area. But that doesn't mean the schools aren't good, just not considered the best. Which many times is in the eye of the beholder, anyway.
