Hey everyone,
My father in law is pretty close to death. I'm really sad, as we all are. Just would like to ask for your prayers. I think I'm going to "play around" a little on this board today for a diversion.

Thanks guys. I'm so down today. You know, I'm older. I've had lots of loved ones die. Some suddenly, some after a long illness, some old, some young.... all heartbreaking. But you THINK you will "get used to it." And you think MAYBE it won't hurt as much next time. Then it happens and it's just awful.
I'm just thanking God he had a good long life and that we are getting the blessing of some final days to share with him at this point.
It's never fun!  |

So sorry to hear about this. It is good that his family is near in the final days.
I remember another post by you recently about how thankful you were that your kids were able to know him and spend quality time with him-that is a blessing.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
