Lindenwold PATCO Park & Ride
Heading to Philly again next week and would like to find out if the Lindenwold park & ride parking lots get filled up? I went to Philly last week and was charged $23 for 90 minutes in a parking lot + gas & tolls. What's the best way to get there from NJ Turnpike exit 4?
Thanks for your help in advance.

It's never close to being filled up. There are always parking spots.
As for directions, are you sure you don't want to get there from the Turnpike Exit 3, instead of 4? That would mean going south on the BH Pike from Exit 3, and making a left onto Chews Landing Road, which is about a mile away. Then make a left onto Laurel Rd. At that point, you'll start seeing signs on Laurel for the PATCO. Go down to White Horse Pike interchange, and it will be right in front of you.

I mapquest the direction and it told me to take exit 4 but if exit 3 is better, I'll go that way instead. Thanks for your input.

Where you coming from? That would help suggest something.
And where in Philly are you planning to be?

you could take the R7 from Trenton to suburban station. or even the riverline from Trenton, and transfer to PATCO in Camden. they would both be cheaper ways and not have to deal with parking.

There is also Woodcrest St. right off I-295, exit 31. At PATCO, you can get free parking.
Parking at NJ Transit RiverLine, you'll get free parking but you have to change trains (possibly delay in waiting for a train), and I don't think one can get free parking at any North/Central NJ NEC NJ Transit points.
I like the Ferry Avenue station, which is off Route 130. It's a $4.10/roundtrip from there, and only 3 stops, so its a relatively quick ride. Think that the cost of toll on any of the bridges from South Jersey to PA is $4.00, so its only $0.10 more. Driving and parking in Philly works out as more affordable if you're carpooling or in a big group.

If you are exiting at exit 4 on the turnpike, you would definitely want to use the Woodcrest Station instead of Lindenwold.
When you get off the turnpike, merge onto 73 north, go past 1 traffic light then take the ramp to 295 south. It is about 5 miles give or take to the Woodcrest Park & Ride exit.....You can't miss it. It has a huge parking lot(s).

Agree with JB, Woodcrest is more convenient. There will be some parking in the back but you'll have a long walk, it is a huge lot.
