Thanks everyone for the answers, I was thinking of Marlton and specifically Kings Grant Community and either rent a condo or a townhouse there. Does anyone know of that community and is that a good choice. This is what was recomended by a local realtor in the area, please advise

Marlton: The only thing is that by choosing that location, you are tied to Rt.70.
I understand that your locations are far from another but personally, I would hate to have to rely on Rt.70. From Marlton to the shore, it's a two lane undivided highway. One accident there and you're toast..(meaning you won't be going anywhere because of the traffic).
I did a similar commute for about 2 months from Seaside Park to Cherry Hill.We were renting in Seaside Park and looking to buy a home in Cherry Hill. Everyday...we drove Rt.70, I hated it. Good luck as I know you have no choice in your work locations.

That's where I rented those townhouses. It's a nice neighborhood. They have community activities, there's a pool, small lakes (people keep canoes lakeside) an elementary school inside the development.

I'd opt for Southampton or Chatsworth. However, I'm probably the only regular poster that would want to live this 'remote'. When I left Medford, there was a rumor that Zallie's was going to build a Shop Rite on Rt 206 in Shamong. I wonder if that plan ever came to pass. Having a supermarket within 5 miles of where you live makes the situation more managable.

Route 70 becomes two lanes just east of Medford, so waiting for an accident to be cleared or some other traffic snarl is a possibility. From Four Mile Circle eastward he would be on Route 72, rather than the section of Route 70 that you drove to Seaside, and that can back up nicely as well.
The key word here is undivided. I would have turned around and gone another way. There's always another way.

Generally, how often is there a big accident on Route 70 ?
I used to commute Marlton to NE Philly, and block by block on Allegheny Ave. would get red lights, and hated it. The only expressway part was from Maple Shade to Cinnaminson to Betsy Ross Bridge. Stop and go traffic once in the Philly grid, driving in the blight.
I'd think a nice woodsy route where the delays aren't so bad, and with mostly green lights would be better.
I don't know - the grass is greener on the other side, but sometimes you get the same grass.
Another thing. I used to visit Seaside Heights over the summer and visit friends coming from North Jersey. I breezed through on Route 70, while they dealt with tolls and heavy traffic on Garden State Parkway.
Actually Rt. 70 becomes undivided 2 lane in Evesham Township, west of Medford. Around where it merges with 206, and I think Evesboro-Medford, It becomes divided (4 lane) for a short stretch. In that area, of Evesham and Medford, betwen the Marlton Superfresh to Medford Zallies ShopRite, there is often a lot of traffic, rush hour till 7, with the lanes downsizing, even though there is an upsizing for a short stretch.
Though some people divert to Evesboro Medford Rd, then switch to either Greentree or Church Rd. to cross to Route 73, to either get back at Route 70 in Cherry Hill, or follow on Route 38.

Yes, it becomes 2 lanes and the grass median ends just east of downtown Marlton. It widens, turn lanes, at intersections with traffic lights and as you mentioned additional lane(s) through Medford. There's the improved intersections at Skeet Road, I'd forgotten about the light at Red Lion Road, a turn lane at Leisuretown, then the next turn lanes are all the way down at Rt. 539. Once you pass the Medford Shoprite turn around, it's 2 lanes for through traffic all of the way down to the Manahawkin area.

I agree with Jackson, the other locations are too close to Cherry Hill. It's going to be a bit of a drive, especially in the summer with shore traffic.
