I don't think this guy took our advice - there's an ad on craigslist for a cici's opening in bayonne.

Only the one by Planet Fitness -- the one on Broadway across from Pizza Master is still there (at least, it was when I got my hair cut at Beauty Bizz two weeks ago).

I ate at a Cici's in Tampa, FL. I disagree with those who say it is "vomit-inducing" or inedible. It was fine to eat, but I wouldn't say it was "good". It was OK, it was filling. It didn't taste like good pizza. It was not even as good, IMHO, as Elio's frozen pizza (which is pretty good, actually). But the deal was OK, for $5 I was able to stuff myself with food that didn't taste good but didn't taste bad, either. It definitely didn't satisfy the pizza craving I was having.
To put one in Bayonne is probably doomed to failure. I don't know much about Bayonne but I'm sure they have several excellent pizzerias. I know that right over the Bayonne Bridge, in Staten Island, is one of the absolute best pizza places, called Denino's. I also know that Hoboken has some of the state's best pizza and isn't far from Bayonne.
I would say that your best bet would be closer to the PA border and further from the NYC border.
Good luck.

The Papa John's that used to be across from Pizza Masters on Broadway is now "Pizza Mia". No longer a Papa John's franchise but it looks the same.

Cici's is Bayonne NJ>>>YES
It would be great for a Cici's pizza buffet to be in that city, especially with cruise ships that come into that city. Tourists would like to go to Cici's, especially to a pizza buffet with a low price range. With the recession at peak levels people wouldn't mind spending less money than the ordinary pizza restaurants in town that have raised their prices. The city is a gold coast location in the New York tri-state area. Cici's will fit in just right at the location by a movie theater and the rest of the shopping center in that part of the city. I have been to a Cici's twice in Orlando Florida last year. I liked the place and the prices of having to go to a pizza buffet and choosing your own style of pizza and many other things.

I see that this is your first ever post on this New Jersey forum. Just curious -- have you ever eaten pizza in any of the local places in Bayonne?

Have you ever been to the cruise port in Bayonne? You don't just step off the boat and walk over the Cici's- or anywhere. The port is in the back of an abandoned military base, with nothing around it.

That's why I though it was still there.
I still wouldn't eat there.
