Yes......you stated some wacky thoughts about old drug stores and libraries......we're all still waiting to hear why living near these New Jersey "icons" would keep anyone from moving from New Jersey. I think the point to be made here is that if this is the best you have to offer to keep people from leaving New Jersey your in trouble !!! You'd better think about stating "something" more attractive to those that are loading up their moving vans as we speak because what you have offered is woefully inadequate.

New Jersey is still "home" to me even though I left there when I was 8 and I've lived in South Carolina for the last 36 years.

The original post was why would you want to leave NJ.........not how to save the middle class.....you seem to be a little disoriented and posting in the wrong thread.........if saving the middle class is your topic of choice then you may wish to start a thread on that. City Data is a forum to post opinions on topics offered and for debating/defending those opinions. Despite differences theres no need for name calling.
