Hi
I would be commuting from Princeton to NYC or Jersey City.
I have heard about the waiting period for permit parking at the Princeton Jct Train Station.
I was wondering if there are any parking lots near the Princeton DINKY train station .
Is a permit easily available ?
Are there any private parking lots near the station ?
Is there a waiting period for the Jersey Avenue train station too ??
Any inputs or advice would be greatly appreciated .
Thanks
The DNKY goes back and forth from Princeton Junction to downtown Princeton, near the university. There is very limited parking by the DNKY and that would also add time to your commute. There are some parking paces available at Princeton Junction that are metered and cost $3/day but they are popular and tend to fill up by about 6:30 am- but this might not be a problem for you if you need to get to work early anyway. Jersey Avenue does not fill up (at least not so early) but there are fewer trains that stop there.
