A job!
I just got hired for a part-time job, 20 hrs. a week.
The employer said that after they put the job on Craigslist, they got more than 400 responses. They interviewed four people and checked references on all of us, and I made the cut.
It is definitely an employer's market; I am getting a part-time job for very little money after going through an exhaustive process and having three references checked. Outrageous.
You have no idea how thankful I am.

I am happy for you too!! I often think about you and your career, you said you did medical editing/writing if I am correct. I am so glad you found something, and this will be a big confidence boost to know you beat out 400 resumes/applicants. Plus your working part time so when the economy picks up and get good if you want you can startling looking and keep the part time job until you land the dream job again. Great news!!!!!!! Marilyn
