Per feng shui all new construction homes built after 2004 and are north-east facing homes ...(i.e. doors pointing north east/south west direction) will do good.

Old homes will have reversal of fortune i.e if they are doing good, they will do bad...and vice versa.

I personally witnessed my old home value go up in 2006...its door was facing s-w.

Feng shui does n't tell you which part of the planet you must live at. I was thinking, isn't it ironic all north east and south west US states are having a reversal of fortune by going good to bad? NJ/NY/CT etc are north eastern states? CA/NV/AZ etc are South West states..

Feng shui says this fortune(good/bad) fortune will last until 2024. Something to do with their stars horoscope.

Economists says US will take 20 years to come out of this current mess.

Gee, synchronicity !!!

disclaimer: this is pure entertainment

I thought feng shui prefers that, as you exit your front door, you should be facing the southern sky ...?

Change is the only thing constant.
This eternal principle is embedded in Feng shui..

Feng shui says nothing about the location of the house in the country, but rather it's orientation. You started out correctly with the comment about "northeast-facing homes", but you then skipped a few dozen rungs on the ladder of inference in your NJ/CA hypothesis.......

That's right. Feng shui is about the science of space, not where your house is located or about foretelling the future.

But I was thinking that if we consider earth as a living being then it too must be getting benefits of wind/water energy at a particular geographic place. for its inhabitants to enjoy.

I heard that so long as the house isn't facing South, u are ok.. but I think that's strange because people do have backdoors?? I would be more concerned about which way my bed is facing, althought now I don't care or have a clue which direction I sleep.

Legend has it all the evil castles face south, ha.

The back of my house faces south and I have a side door - no back door.

I think your bed is supposed to face northwest.
