Default Bigger Harsher Powerlines Thru NJ! CANCER!

As I posted early on another thread, my husband and I were concerned about the property tax increase in Byram. After some further research into the area we found out that PSE&G is proposing to put up 195ft towers. This project would effect all people along the route. Lower property values=higher taxes. They will be build thru Stillwater, Fredon Twp, Andover, Byram, Jefferson,Sparta, Boonton, Kinnelon, Rockaway, Montville, Parsippany, Hanover and Roseland. Thru environmentally senstive areas. More coal generation leading to more acid rain. Noise pollution from the construction of these for months.
They also don't have any hard facts as to whether these much more powerful towers will cause CANCER. How many stories have we heard were authorities have said things were safe for the citizens and then we find out 10/20years later that it was toxic and caused all kinds of diseases and destruction of nature.
Here is the news video and website. I hope that people realize that if this goes thru and their families get sick and property values go down that they could and should file law suits.
I thought we were trying to fight for better environmental conditions, safety, greener technologies, better property values and a better economy.

Thats the question....Do they? When will we find out....when it's too late.
We have to start researching this now and if we find that it is a possibility we have to try to stop it. I'm sure there are other ways they can get more power thru new jersey. What about renewable cleaner energy sources like solar & wind.

When you find out you have cancer it's always "too late" to stop if from happening. Whether you live near a power line, drink out of plastic bottles, have a mammogram every year, blah blah blah.

As a cancer surviver I totally disapprove of your heading. It's people like you who give people like me a stigma.

Because magical solar and wind power doesn't need powerlines???

I didn't post this up to offend or get into a arguement w/ people....I posted it up so that people could be aware & protest depending on how important of a matter it was to them.
1. Why put these up in peoples back yards where there is uncertainty w/ causes of cancer or anything else for that matter.
2. it ruins the environment and beauty of this area
3. lowers property values
4. is mostly to give NYC more power

Why can't they put these lines in non-residential areas underground. Or try to find some other way to get more energy/save energy. From reading the article it seems like we don't even need more energy....maybe NYC does.

Just trying to inform people

Soooo,

What, you're going to protest. How.... not plug in YOUR toaster, or maybe you won't turn on YOUR air conditioner this summer.

Get real, you just don't want to look at all those "nasty" eye sores that will hurt YOUR property values.

I guess it would be O.K. in my yard though.

I think wifi networks cause cancer. Everyone should go back to cables, just in case. Can't be too careful!

Also partisan voters. They cause cancer too.
