A majority of the people being "stupid" (which I'm sure is just your way of saying "people who hold views other than my own") is different than fraud. Better turnout = better results. Poor turnout = poor results. It really is that simple. No tea party needed.

There is nothing silly about Patriotic get-togethers. It's just an exchange of free speech.

There's nothing patriotic about tea parties. There was nothing patriotic about the first one. The original tea party was a protest against taxation without representation by a foreign power-which was a damn good reason to protest. The 4th of July, Flag Day, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, etc...are about patriotism, and there is nothing silly about them. These tea parties are simply about "Wah Wah Wah I didn't vote for Barack Obama (or just plain didn't vote) and now I'm going to whine about it."

So...your guy won. Why do you care? How is that any different than the cry babies who burned effigies of W?

Also, the Boston Tea Party damaged private property. If they were around today, they'd be pretty pissed off at the size of our gov.

I'm not attending these tea parties. If you have 20 ignorant people voting for the same guy, and 10 informed voting for a different guy, chances are...the stupid guy wins.

Right now the majority of Democrats and Republicans seem stupid.

Only thing that I like is that Republicans are being forced to recognize their conservative base. They ignored them for 8 years, and now are realizing their very jobs are at stake if they support these outrageously stupid spending bills.

Well, he's the guy I voted for-not sure if I'd call him "my guy." I'm watching quite carefully Mr. Obama's position on firearms. Despite voting for him I was not happy with his choice of Attorney General. However, unlike the previous administration this one seems to listen more. Mr. Holder listened loud and clear when 65 House Democrats asked that he not pursue reinstating the assault weapons ban.

Because I believe that if you're going to do something it ought to be effective. Silly displays like these are not effective.

It's not-and that's the whole point. The people attending the tea parties ought to pat the people who burned effigies of George W. Bush on the back-both have hurt the political process and contributed to the collective dumbing down of America. If people would stop these inane stunts and pay more attention and vote we wouldn't have these problems. While they're at if they would turn off Ann Coulter, Micheal Moore, Bill O'Reilly, and Bill Maher to name a few we'd be much better off.

The size of government bothers me less than its lack of ability to function properly.

What do you think?
A Morristown Tea Party is about New Jersey.

The Party will be on the Green at noon April 15th. Not to far, where George Washington staged his troops for a couple of winters.

Washington fought for Free Speech and we got it now.

I'll be there. Funny, the effort to throw a wet blanket on those who simply wish to express their frustration with irresponsible government spending.

Default These are the same people who wanted Bush impeached.

These are the same people who wanted Bush impeached. Now, we want to express our free speech and they don't like it.
