Default How safe is this area in Jersey City?

I am looking for a condo to buy in a safe part of Jersey City as I am working in the downtown area so I would love to have a quick commute.

I was advised to look into areas near Paulus Hook and downtown area of JC, but Paulus hook is still a bit out of my price range.

How safe is the area on 2nd Street between Colgate St & Brunswick St which is very close to Lee's Food Market & The 2nd Street Bakery?

If anyone can give me some input on this area or any other areas I can purchase a condo I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks
Full-scree

that area should be ok to live in, your close to three schools, the grammar school up the block and also ferris and dickinson so around lunch time and dismissal, i've seen a lot of kids milling around but your probably at work anyway...theres a lot of construction going in the surrounding blocks so there is almost always a police presence closing off certain streets
