I failed in Wayne, Nj because I hit the curb while turning and I hit the back cones parking. I was just really nervous and the course was just too narrow. I also don't want the same examiner again.
Should I try Lodi? Anyone have any experience there?
I took mine in Randolph a few years ago and here is what I had to do: http://i.imgur.com/wHMYhwq.jpg. I failed the first time because I didn't come to a complete stop at one of the stop signs and I didn't slow down on the turn where I denoted *** on the map above. The spot they gave me to parallel park was like 3 or 4 times the length of my car so that was almost impossible to screw up. I think as long as you know what you're doing it's a piece of cake no matter where you take it.

Lodi is a pretty easy course but you still need to pass the exam.
About a decade back you could go there after hours and get a sense of the place; give that a shot before registering if they haven't locked it down in the interim
Some road test courses give commercial, i.e. truck driving tests on Saturday but all of them close on Sunday. I do not know if any are gated. And as above don't worry much about the course, get used to driving more. You can do a lot of practice in seldom used parking lots, etc.
if you are a good driver then EVERY course is easy to pass.
