Favorite Easter Candy.....
CURSE THE WOMAN who brought those Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs to work.... can you SERIOUSLY eat just one of those?????
And not for nothing, but the gentleman who brought the Gertrude Hawk Pretzel/Chocolate "Poppers" is not on my top 5 right now either....
OMG. Summer is coming.
So what's your favorite Easter Candy.
In advance I'd like to say Peeps are only good for becoming objects of mass destruction once hard. And The Caddbury Cream Egg, while has a substantial following, has always scared me.

Ohh, I LOVE the PB eggs. I was gone from my house for a few days, and when I returned, I was craving them tremendously. Low and behold, I found some in my fridge. It was pure excitement.
and of course you can't eat JUST one!
With that said, those are some of my favorite Easter candies. I'm not picky though. I also like the snickers eggs, and occasionally, chocolate rabbits.
There are some new Easter candies that I'll be trying come Monday...when they've all gone on sale .
I've never heard of the poppers. What are they?

Cadbury's Cream Eggs for sure (but only the ones made in the UK - not the Hershey's knock-off ones) or Caramel Eggs.

Speaking of UK candies...
I could REALLY go for a crunchie right now. OR an orange PiM's with a cup of PG Tips.

Oh, such pedestrian chocolates!
I'll go with Birnn Chocolates from Highland Park, especially their wonderful solid chocolate bunnies!

Cadbury eggs only at Easter, and Hanna Krause solid milk chocolate eggs anytime. What makes me think of Easter though is what we used to get as kids half a century ago (ouch) . One chocolate bunny, some jelly beans, peeps, and a box of those assorted eater eggs (Fanny Farmer or Russell Stover I forget which) where one would be green colored coconut shaped like a nest with little jelly bean eggs in it, all in a wicker basket with a bed of green fake straw. It wasn't the best quality candy but my brother and I didn't care. We would always eat as much as we could before church until we got yelled at. Where did those days go.
