I think I've been there once off season... just wasn't the same. Of course the weather isn't good and alot of the places are closed.

Good if you don't like the crowd...

The Wildwoods just about roll up the sidewalks after the October 50's weekend. There's not much open, even McDonalds in NW closes down...BUT for us die hards that love the beach no matter what...there are a several year round bars and resturants. Seems to me that NW also has the most year round residents. I go down every couple of weeks, all year long for condo board meetings and such, but it is really quiet.Cape May stays a little more active through Xmas and the bed and breakfasts are wonderful.

hey tiger, lived there 3 years love the summers but we get our island back in the fall when all the shoobies go back to phillie. when it,s cold and rainy and windy in jan is a good time to curl up with a good book,or when the fog rolls in tell ghost stories of dead mariners

I love that boardwalk! Makes me think of sausage and pepper hero's and the "Captains Table" restaurant on the beach for take out lunches!
Also renting bicycles in the early mornings!
I'll take a gyro just meat and sauce from the hot spot please. Perhaps i should have that AFTER the sea serpent!
