Default Condo: Springfield vs Verona

Have been looking at 1br condos in Verona, West Orange, Springfield, Millburn, South Orange, Caldwell, Maplewood. The best options to be in Verona and Springfield. With West Orange/Caldwell tied in 3rd. Maplewood/South Orange in my price range was too close to bad area for my taste.

Which would you choose? I am from Bloomfield so I am more familar with Verona area, although I am not an expert. I like to walk places, would like to walk to town. The Verona units I am looking at are off Bloomfield ave. in Ardleign Meadows on Green Acres ave.

The Springfield Condos are alittle lower in price but I am not sure about the area. 2 are located near 78 closer to the union border. The other is closer to millburn/summit.

I work in Livingston but I am not sure how long my job will be there. It is possible they will relocate in anywhere from 1-3 years. Depending where they relocate to I may end up having to sell this unit in 3 years or less, so resale value would be key for me also.

Springfield's nice, but Verona's nicer. If it's not a big difference and the places are of comparable quality, I'd go with Verona.

compare taxes and assoc fee's. I believe 1br condo in springfield is almost 4000/month for taxes and 300/month for Assoctn fees.
