Thanks Tahiti!

like one of the commenters said, few have really considered the proposed Republican alternative -- cutting taxes for the rich.

if average people are broke, lowering taxes for wealthy business owners won't make those poor people go out and buy their goods.

people aren't buying them because they need little things like food and shelter.

This article pretty much sums up my take on what these "Tea Parties" will (or should I say "won't") accomplish.

I wanted to go to one of these parties because I heard there'd be teabagging involved. But once I saw bags of Lipton instead, I got disappointed and decided to stay at work.

Nice try? I'm thrilled that it's being covered now - and quite surprised. For the record, it's also on msnbc and cnn now.

Prior to the turnouts today though, it was no where to be found on any news sites - although I did hear Chuck Todd on the Today Show this morning talking about what a failure the events were before they happened.

But in all fairness, I don't hear much about other protests ahead of time either.

Default We had a great Tea Party in Newton, New Jersey

We had a great Tea Party in Newton, New Jersey. I'll post some pictures to a webpage later tonight.

I'm getting details how the Morristown Tea Party turned out. When I do, I'll post them to this thread.
