the thing with these types of hot dogs though -- the preparation of the dog is a distant second to the relish.

so if Rutt's relish is indeed the shiznit, it would overcome any shortcomings of the dog itself.

the bun makes a difference too, but that's always overlooked.

Nathan's buns were great, but they seem to be phasing out
in NJ...

Look, Rutts is so dirty and gross you may HAVE the shsiznits for days after eating there.....

I do agree on Libby's but my favorite is another ex-pat from Paterson - Johnny & Hanges . They are in Fair Lawn on Maple Av. Try your hot dog "all the way".
