Not a shock at all but is the military the way to go?
What about a trade?

The people (black elites and their ilk) who want to claim that race is the key discriminating factor in American society, and not money, those are the people who are not dealing with reality.
Again, there's a perfectly fair, logical, and non-racist way to help all disadvantaged people in the country, including poor white males -- by helping those who truly need it.

Obama has said, many times, that he does not think of people such of his children when he thinks of those who need help such as affirmative action.

Talk is cheap. Let's see if he does anything about it.

I mentioned trades. Do you think you need a university education to be a plumber? A bricklayer?
I'm not even sure what you're trying to argue anymore, since your belief that it's only white males that can have a successful career without college education is just ridiculous.

Their father is mixed race and was raised by white people in a world where there were few Blacks and yes the system worked for him.
That is a far from perfect example. It is a very uncommon example.
It's interesting that you would use him instead of someone like Clarence Thomas as your example.
Interesting.

But, of course, everyone can claim victim status and discrimination except for white males.

Get over it, I don't believe in AA but disenfranchised white male syndrome is one of the stupidest things ever.

They're not minorities. They're the single largest population (and voting) block in this country. They have more political clout than any other political group in the nation.
Not sure why they get lumped in with blacks when it comes to getting special treatment, but there you have it.

[quote=Waldwick04;8369196] Montclair State University receives anonymous $5 million donation - NJ.com
Women make up 62% of the student population at Montclair State. I dont think they need any more funding. If anything, MEN are the minorities.
Anyone who says women get the short end of the stick in education, is deluded.

Throughout our history, poor whites have had more value to their lives than rich blacks.

You are correct in that it isn't a level playing field now, but you are dead wrong as to which side the pendulum has swung to.
Isn't Obama Black? What further evidence do people need that hard work and ability will get you success in this country no matter your background.

its sick that political correctness allows for this type of discrimination and people actually defend it. i doubt that the white males who are constantly discriminated against will put up with it forever.
if you are defending this, thats fine with me. its the donors money so their wishes should be followed. however, i guarantee that the same people who see no problem with this would be offended if someone donated money that could only be used for white males.
