Park Ridge is a very nice town, quiet, good schools. Taxes may be high (aren't they ALL in BC???) But they have their own HS - a good school - and small.

New Milford is a nice town, but the schools are just so so and the taxes are VERY high, I think you could do better elsewhere.

I am looking for a home for my clients in the 500k range in the Pascack Valley/Northern Valley area and I am also surprised that a lot of the homes in this range aren't that updated, if at all.

Upper Bergen has always been expensive, always will be expensive. (See other "overpriced" thread! )
