Default Allergy season

(knocking on wood)

Is it me, or does is the allergy season uncommonly light right now in North Jersey?

Usually by this time of year, I am all doped up on meds just hoping not to sneeze more than 50 times in a row. Now? Hardly anything. Something strange is going on...

It's like that down here, in FL, too. Normally, I'd be taking Zyrtec just about every day. This year (save for once or twice, but that was when I was cleaning out that hell-hole of a house I used to live in) I haven't had any allergies.

Weeeird.

My allergies are bothering me... but they've just started. I think the late "warm up" is just delaying it.

practicalposts is on a distinguished road
in case somebody is as miserable as me during allergy season, I tried all known remedies including neti pot, most over the counter allergy medicines and some prescription

Only way my nasal problem (congestion) is solved is using flonase or nasonex
and for eyes its topical steroid

I heard somewhere that using local honey helps but havent tried

I'm using Nasonex also and getting a Neti Pot, which I understand has great results.

Here on Long Island its bad, but when I was down in Toms River my allergies didn't bother me at all. Maybe because there's more pines versus oaks?

OP
We are suffering as well and the pollen hasn't even begun to drop in our town...
I tried this from our local health food store: Oil of Oregano
( clears the nasal passages from all the "schmegma")
Only a few drops in your tea, or soft drink, do not attempt to take directly from the dropper

Hope it helps.
