looking to rent in NJ suburbs without paying a premium for good school districts, commuting to WTC
Hi all
i've been a freqent visitor to the forums here and have found the advise from fellow users to be very helpful. we're moving out from jersey city to the suburbs, commuting to WTC. We have the following preferences;
1) looking for the closest commute to WTC- (meaning closest commute to NJ transit that takes us to Hoboken, from there on ofcouse its Path to WTC) 2) we dont want to rent in areas that charge a premium for school districts because we dont have a school going kid
(3) looking for a gated community
(4) we have a $1100 - $1300 budget, not looking for too much space (800 sq feet should suffice)
Based on our preferences and several weeks of research we've narrowed down our choice to summit, new providence, short hills and west orange.
are there any other places that we should consider? can someone who's familiar with this area shed some more light and help us narrow this down even further
