sorry, went off on a coming to american tangent. stay away from nyc. should be able to nail plenty of girls in hoboken but if you want a nice girl then id go farther south.

Exactly................ While you are cutting Hoboken residents down for their particular ways (I agree with you), NYC has its own brand of obnoxious D-Bagness that is just as vial & repulsive.

besides, most of those girls don't drive -- you want to be making 2 round-trips each time to see her ? just think of the $$ spent on tolls

I had to ask are you from NJ originally? Most people I know hate the term "joisey".

I dated a Bay Ridge girl and an Astoria girl. PATH to the subway. No way I would pay those tolls for some debauchery.

Basically, do the exact opposite of this!
Don't the wear the uniform. Please, no hair gel. Don't bother with girls who are more concerned about what kind of car you drive or where you work than your character. Just don't be a d-bag and you won't attract them~ like attracts like, you know!
Seriously, there are lots of quality girls in both NJ and NY, but you probably won't meet them in a bar or club in Hoboken. Those establishments can be fun just to hang out with your friends, but don't go in having expectations to meet someone (although you never know...).
My advice would be to check out more outdoorsy, fun, springtime things like festivals, shows, parks, boardwalks, street fairs and such. Or, volunteer for a cause that you support, and you're pretty much guaranteed to meet others who care about the same things you do. Even if you just make a few new friends, it's quality vs. quantity. Good luck!

born, raised, will be buried in, NJ...
I used that spelling due to the context of this thread.
the NJ people who hate the term joisey are probably from the suburbs, otherwise they'd have a thicker skin
