Yes Yes YES! Our A/C is on. It won't stay on as long as the temps go back down to "normal" for this time of the year, but most definitely will go on anytime the weather is 80 degrees+ (or even much less than that, if it's super humid).

The big unit in the living room has been on for an hour. I may end up sleeping on the couch -- four dogs and a husband generate a lot of heat.

Last night, I couldn't sleep at all because of the heat, even though windows were open the whole night.
I have NEVER understood this question. If it is 90 degrees, I don't care if it is April, August or December, my a/c will be on.

Ours wasn't on only because we haven't put the unit in the bedroom window. My husband has been sick, and while I'm pretty strong, lifting the A/C is a bit beyond me. We put the living room unit on last night and it did a nice job cooling the bedroom.

This happens at some point every year. I remember in 2007, sitting in the back yard on the afternoon of our 27th wedding anniversary (April 19th), dressed in a tank top and shorts, listening to the Yankees win a game by scoring 6 runs in the bottom of the 9th. Nice anniversary present....

Actually, it give me a good opportunity to do a "shake down" run, and get it fixed if necessary.
