OK - lets start collecting... I'm officially among the unemployed. Glad I have the stash in the basement, should get me through for a while, then I can downgrade brands.

Oooh goody, a Vodka thread! I am now down to V5 from Grey Goose. Here's how it happened, in the order of the downgrading:

Grey Goose $33
Kettle One $29
Stoli $22
Tito's Handmade Vodka $18
V5 $14

It's not too bad, been mixing it with a little cran-grape. Sometimes with a little cran-grape and a little OJ.

Just think of all the money I have been saving.

BTW, sorry about your job. :-(

NICE Calico. Nice. You know, I have to see what Iceberg Vodka is going for.... that was always pretty darn good and cheaper. As, the sacrifices we have to make!

i rarely drink but i think bacardi is the smart choice. tastes better than vodka and is considered a premium brand while still being pretty cheap.

$17. I can do that. LOL I also have a complete stash of some nice wine we got when we visited Newport Vinyards (love that place) so if I have to become a wino - so be it!

us captain's dont have much of a loyalty to each other.

in college i never drank rum. i just bought my gordon's most mixable vodka every week and mixed it with some kind of juice. now im married, not looking to bang random chicks and im more picky. id rather the drink taste good and i feel rum has a better taste than vodka (which i think of as hairspray tasting).
