Default Emerson or Westwood

What can you tell me about these two towns.I am looking to buy a home in one of these towns.

There isn't a whole lot of difference between the two. I grew up in Westwood. Housing is very similar. I think Emerson HS might be a bit more highly regarded today than WW, although that wasn't the case several years ago. Westwood has a very nice downtown, Emerson really doesn't. For families, I think WW wins, because of the recreation department and park system.

I'm not familiar w/ the rec programs. But I do agree w/ Mattie, the towns are not very different. Westwoods downtown is very nice, Emerson's is basically Kinderkimack and it's not too nice. Westwood shares a Jr/Sr HS w/ Washington Township. Emerson's HS is independent. They are both pretty nice towns though.
